Distributor File Format Requirements

Recommended:
WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC, AIFF, or Windows Media (WMA)
@ ≥44.1kHz, 16 Bit

1GB maximum file size per track.

Tracks must not exceed 5 hours in length.

Albums must not exceed 10 hours in length.

The average track length on an album must not be below 60 seconds.

Recommended:
WAV @ 192kHz, 24 Bit (Stereo)

ADM BWF @ 48kHz, 24 Bit (Dolby Atmos)

Minimum Resolution:
WAV @ 44.1kHz, 16 Bit

No maximum file size or track length.

Required:
WAV or FLAC @ 44.1kHz, 16 Bit

or MP3 @ 320kbps (Not recommended)

If your audio doesn't match these requirements, it shall have to be reformatted.

Tracks must be between 3 seconds to 60 minutes in length.

Albums must contain between 2 to 50 tracks.

Min. Resolution: 44.1kHz, 16 Bit

Max. Resolution: 192kHz, 24 Bit

This distributor does not dither the 16 Bit encodes that are generated from your 24 Bit files. It is therefore recommended to add dither to your files if you are uploading files with a 24 Bit sample size.

Mixing different bit-depths in the same release is not supported. All tracks on the same release must have identical bit-depths.

Lossy formats (MP3, AAC, OPUS) are not supported.

If files that exceed the maximum resolution are received, they will automatically be transcoded down to 192kHz, 24 Bit.
